This policy explains what data Foundel (foundel.in) collects and how we use it. Questions: foundel.in@gmail.com.
Foundel Studio and YouTube data
Who we are
Foundel Studio is a private tool run by Foundel to plan, post and measure Foundel’s own short videos on Instagram (@joinfoundel) and YouTube Shorts. Only Foundel’s own team signs in. It is not a public service.
Google and YouTube data we access
Foundel Studio uses YouTube API Services: the YouTube Data API v3 and the YouTube Analytics API. It asks for these permissions:
youtube.upload: to upload Foundel’s videos as Shorts.-
youtube.readonly: to read the channel name, subscriber count, and each uploaded video’s views, likes and comments. -
yt-analytics.readonly: to read watch time, average view duration, engaged views, shares, and subscribers gained or lost.
By using YouTube API Services, Foundel Studio is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Instagram data we access
Through Meta’s Graph API, Foundel Studio posts Reels to @joinfoundel and reads their insights and the account’s follower count.
What we store
- The Google refresh token and the Instagram access token, encrypted on the server with AES-256-GCM.
- Snapshots of video stats.
- The channel’s daily subscriber and follower counts.
- The videos, covers and captions Foundel uploads. Each MP4 file is deleted after it has posted.
- The app’s own login: email address and a bcrypt-hashed password.
- An activity log of actions taken in the app.
How we use it
We use this data only to post Foundel’s videos to Foundel’s own channels and to show how they perform inside the app. We do not run ads, build profiles, sell data or share it with third parties. Data from Google APIs is not transferred to anyone else and is not used to train AI models.
Foundel Studio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it is stored
On Foundel’s own server (a Hostinger VPS). The database is backed up daily and the last 14 backups are kept.
Retention and deletion
- Tokens are deleted immediately when you click “Disconnect” in the app’s Settings.
- You can revoke Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can revoke Instagram access in Meta’s settings (Facebook → Settings → Business integrations).
- Stats are kept while the app is in use.
- To have data deleted, email foundel.in@gmail.com.
